Nobody's bought them yet, eh? I'm curious why nobody in the prop groups have made kits of these? Compared to a PKE meter, duplicating a Motorola walkie-talkie would be a cake walk (and a nice, inexpensive touch to anybody's uniform set.)

I've seen them on eBay a lot, for not a bad price. I mean, I got my MT500 for $20 (that's with shipping. It's a heavy sucker), with a working battery, all knobs attached, all dial buttons working (Mine has dial buttons, yes.) and a long antennae that isn't busted or anything.

Just gotta catch 'em at the right time, is all.

Ah, I see - I thought they were rarer than that, but if they're easy to find for $20, that would explain the lack of a kit. Buying a kit would be more expensive than snagging a real one.
