Wow. Just wow. I guess no one actually told her it was an April Fools joke. It sounded like she was reading straight from the original April Fools news post, and injecting her own un-funny comment here and there.

It really is amazing to me how all of these other news organizations picked up on this and didn't even bother to check it out OR even click the link on the original page that went to a clip of Nelson saying “Ha-ha.”

This showcases the danger that such believeable April Fools stories create. Nobody bothered clicking the “further story” link which would've been the reveal, and not only has this been reposted on the news website network, it's now trickled as far as low-level video news.

So although I commend the originator for creating a potentially possible story, I equally criticise them for maybe not doing enough to point out it was a joke… especially with today's public, which as a whole is deeply stupid.
