so i forget what interview it was i believe it was gametrailers back in may when they said theres a level in the thanksgiving parade, now is it just me or does this set up murrey the mantis as a possible bust in the game. and anouther with the rgb killdarby ive seen pics of viking ghost and this was the first thing that sprang into mind the killdarby bird. if you recall from the series they had to have i believe peter on the top of the ecto 1 with a large proton shooter to zap it then take it to the firehouse to capture it, now they said u would interact with the ecto 1 but not drive it maybe this is what they mean.

octtober 21st cant come soon enough

They're not gonna be in it. Their designs and concepts would belong to DiC, the studio that animated the show… and they wouldn't be in there as the game isn't likely to draw material from the cartoon with the exception of the Containment Unit.

The Thanksgiving Parade is not a suggestion that we'll see Murray the Mantis, nor is the castle and a viking-looking character (which I think is actually meant to be a Opera Diva) a suggestion we'll see Lord Kildarby, his bird of specifically his castle.

The Ecto-1 sequence, or at least one of them has some of the team racing to Times Square.

well ben king in the interview he said a ghost would posses a float, i mean could be anouther float but if they wanted to make a shout out to the rgb it would be murray and kildarbies bird was just a hope of mind, i always enjoyed that episode :p

DiC doesn't own the copyright for preying mantises. Murray the Mantis was a pretty lame episode as it is. The only thing I'm unhappy about is that this means there will be no Samhain.

If done correctly, Samhuinne would indeed be an awesome addition to the game as a villain…but I have to agree with Kingpin; If Samhuinne was going to be in the game then we probably would have heard something about it by now…but then again he could be a secret they are holding until the release of the game…

Though the reported time period in which the game takes place leads credence to the fact that he won't be in the game. It really wouldn't really make sense to have him in the game if the game takes place in Late November time frame.

It makes sense to have ghosts invade a Thanksgiving day event. I mean, ghosts in the GB universe are really just a mock up of all the fat, undesirable people at large in the real world, right? And what keeps Americans fat? THANKSGIVING!

It would make perfect sense to have a Halloween level in the game of some type, Samhain or not.

Thanksgiving doesn't make us fat, that's just a poor excuse to cover up all the fast food binging people do the other 364 days of the year.

True, but then after Thanks-taking day, there comes Christmas and New Years eve. For three months out of every year, everyone is gorging even more than usual here in the US. Never mind the fast food, which is just something to make a turd out of and contains nothing but empty calories. At least on Thanksgiving Americans have an excuse to eat vegetables . . . but not until after drenching them in butter and shit.

I agree. I would love to see a level taking place during halloween whethere or not Samhuinne is in it or not and if it's an early level and the game takes place over a period of weeks (which would make more sense to me considering both movies do) then it would fit in perfectly.

No they don't, but the particular design of Murray before he transformed into a kick-ass evil mantis is likely their exclusively owned material.
