OH! And for fans of 80's music with a sci fi sound, everybody should download a group called The Epoxies. You'll thank me later.

I like a lot of different music, mostly classic rock.

Pink Floyd - hence my screenname

Van Halen - Eddie Van Halen is an awesome guitarist. Sammy Hagar rocks, but I prefer DLR Van Halen to Van Hagar. “Eruption” is such a hard song to play, and I've tried off and on to nail it. :p

Britney Spears - I know what you're probably going to say. But Britney is awesome. It's cool to look beyond the hits and find other Britney gems like “Cinderella” and “Bombastic Love” and “Shadow.”

Green Day - The genius of American Idiot cannot be overstated. It is simply one of the greatest albums ever made. That is the album that really turned me on to Green Day, but I've heard their other work, such as songs from Dookie, their other bestselling album. I can't believe how long it took for me to realize Billie Joe was wearing eyeshadow; I had never noticed it before until VH1 mentioned it on Best Week (Year) Ever. Green Day rocks! Simply put.

AC/DC

Metallica - They have some cool riffs and solos. I have the Black Album, and it has some awesome songs on it.

Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, baby! :-)

Will… iam Shat… ner - Okay, you've got to have your guilty pleasures, I guess. :p But his “Rocketman” is so memorable. How can I resist?

Nirvana

Led Zeppelin

The Beatles

The Rolling Stones - They rocked this years Super Bowl! Too bad, they couldn't make up for the pathetic “Addicted to Lost” ad. (o_O)

The Who

I have too many favorite bands to name. I'll probably tell you more when I think of them.

I swear, if Green Day wins anything again, and if “Hollaback Girl” gets a Grammy, there's going to be hell to pay. :@

by MasterSpider

19 years, 1 month ago

Well, I dunno what you're expecting for song of the year. Boulevard of Broken Dreams was without a doubt the most played. HollaBack Girl is pretty lame. But speaking of lame, U2 won best rock album, which is ridiculous. Oh well, I guess.

So far, it's been pretty mediocre. The best part was Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keyes singing Higher Ground, and that wasn't even a performance…

by EgonsBabe

19 years, 1 month ago

Well, considering that most of the nominations were crap, U2 winning a few awards is better than nothing, I guess.(*winston) I would say what album I prefer should've gotten a Grammy, and for which group, but I doubt you'd agree with me on that too.

*sigh* Oh well….

by MasterSpider

If the answer was Foo Fighters, like it should be, then no, I wouldn't disagree…

by CrimsonGhostbuster

Meh, at least my Ministry was nominated… and now that Slipknot has a grammy, my hometown will now be known as “Hey… some guys from that city won a grammy.”
