Hi there Ghostheads!

I had a busy time down here, but I can give you all some news now.

1st) Custom Fit flightsuits: As previously reported in other topics I'm STILL offering the flightsuits (custom fit), nametags and No Ghost patches. All items can be made in GB1 or GB2 style, at customer's choice.

2nd) GB1 and GB2 patches: I still can offer GB1 or GB2 nametags and/or arm patches. ALL my arm patches are FULLY EMBROIDERED! I mean, the ghost is fully embroidered, not as other patches found out there, that only have red and black embroidered points and we see the white fabric as “ghost's skin”. Just email me for additional informations and costs.

Here are some photos of my patches (actual size is not the same pictured!):
Arm patches:

Nametags

PLEASE NOTE: Nametags can be “Character's names” OR “your name”. Just contact me.

3rd) Slime blower props: I'm NOT offering them anymore, thanks to prop's huge size/weight. I sent one to USA, via FEDEX and the shipping costs to ship it was US$1,000.00 alone!!! So, in hope to avoid problems (with customers that becomes surprised with costs), I decided to stop offering it. Sorry for that, guys!

4th) PROTON PACKS: You are not wrong! I'm supporting a friend of mine who is almost done to this project and we should offer these proton packs' replicas VERY SOON! I don't have an estimated cost for the complete pack, since we are developing the electronics for it, but as soon as I get some images, I'll let you all know.

Anyway, if you are interested, you can “sign in” to our “intention to buy wish list of packs”, emailing me. This will help my friend see how much time he will take to recover his investments in this project. Again, just email me to “sign in” the list, without compromises.

To order anything or get additional informations of any item described here, please contact me directly at: ftpvinicius@gmail.com

DO NOT USE private messages, since it may not reach me so easily, thanks to system's problems.

Looking forward to hear from you all, ghostheads

Thanks!

I have katarra's logo patch and it looks nothing like your picture. it looks more like the one you are selling. Do you really have to bash some one elses product to sell your own?

I was going to say this, as well.

Katarra8 does some of the best work for patches… both logos, and names. And has a ridiculously good customer service. You come off very unprofessional for trying to paint her product in a bad light here.

And anyone who would sign up for an interest list, when you won't even post pictures of the product, or a price, or take the interest list here on the forum you're posting it… yea, they'd have to be nuts.

Not one thing about this seems legit.

I also agree Katarra8's work is great, I have ordered 3 name patches from her and they are the best I have ever bought. I say this having experienced "many“ different seller patches. I don't think I would ever purchase from any other patch seller other than her now. I actually just purchased one today and she had it ship out same day at my request, GREAT customer service that is hard to top.

”No Ghost" patches that have a black border are not accurate.

Guys!

Please, don't cross the streams and turn your packs off!

My idea to show the “comparison” image is because one of my previous customers sent me a picture of the patch he got from Katarra (with some complains “added”, by the way). I kept all that secret, as I'm now doing.

I agree she may upgraded it (based on all your comments) and I'll not show that image again. Your comments were taken as totally truth by me. This is why I just removed it from this post.

I want to let clear to everyone that my intention is to promote another seller of GB props (me). Nothing more. If you all ask around about me, all my customer may say good feedbacks from myself and my products.

So, again, I'm very sorry if anyone took this personal. That was not my intention.

About the proton packs, I asked for my friend to see if he have news from our packs. As soon as I get them, I'll post here.

Again sorry about the Katarra's matter. It should not be made again

“No Ghost” patches that have a black border are not accurate.

Guys,

I already explaned this “black outline” subject, but there is no problem to explain it here.

The black outline is the responsible to keep all patch's knots and lines together, for a very long time. If we remove it (as they did on movies), the patch may dissolve and my idea is not make “discardable” patches, but durable ones.

Why movie's have no outlines? Because the movie worn costumes were made to be worn a few times and, then, it should be sent to wardrobe, differently from our costumes, that we want to wear and wear multiple times. And I'm sure everyone here wants to have a durable costume, right?

That's why we need this black outline.

Unfortunately, we have a “cross roads” here:
- Accurate patches = low durability
- Black outlined patches = not accurate, but long life patch

And this is a technical detail of embroidered patches' process, not something I created.

Thanks!

I appreciate you clearing up the katarra situation, but just to clarify, the patches border can be made in any color to keep the knots and everything together.

A perfect example is the patch from GBFans, which is currently sold out:

The border is done in red, so that the patch looks accurate.

Hi there Dr. Venkman!

Thanks for the info. I'll try to make mine this way. I'm sure I'll be able to make them this way and as soon as I make them, I'll take photos and let you all know.

Thanks again!
