My Birthday

Well why do you like Ghostbusters? Why do I like it? Or other movies like Terminator or Rocky? There are no real answers to these questions, just the plain simple fact that you like it. Strange how the world works.

Why is Fashion Bug so popular with girls? My fiance's sister works there and they just love that place to death. I've been in there a few times and I just don't get why it's such a great store. I mean what's the difference between there and Banana Republic or D.E.M.O. or ManAlive if you have those there. I mean to me a clothing store is a clothing store, just b/c Banana Republic is my favorite store I still shop at wherever. The only store I can't stay away from is Lids/Hat World, but thats because I got a thing for hats, for some reason I just can't get enough hats.

My mother and I go there often when there's a sale. Or just poke around. Believe me, we both usually find everything we wanted.

Yes there are answers to those questions. I'm sure almost everyone here can give you an answer as to why they like Ghostbusters, or Family Guy or whatever. You don't just like things for no reason, I love the cast of GB, the many underlying jokes that the average non-fan doesn't catch, I love Stay-Puft, and the kick ass proton packs. I like Family Guy b/c even though it's nothing but stupid humor that's what I love about it. It's just a bunch of random jokes that never makes sense to the current story. I like being able every now and then to watch a show and not have to think a whole lot about, like my other favorites, I can just relax and laugh.

I wasn't asking some almighty question to the fashion bug universe. I was just simply saying since I'm a guy not a girl, what makes fashion bug appealing to women. To me I like to shop in Banana Republic b/c thier clothes are expensive and look classy. I also like Hot Topic for the reason that they sell a lot of video game and t.v. show t-shirts, and they are reasonable priced and aren't as low in quality as the silk screen tees you get from target.

All I was simply asking was why do you like fashion bug? Do they offer a lot of clothes that are trendy? Do they have good prices? Is it just a good location for her? That's all I wanted to know, that way maybe when I talked to my fiance about the store I might've been able to know a little something about the place. You made it seem like I was asking some kinda complex question, I'm not a complex guy, lol.

And thank you for your answer missy that's all I was wondering about the place. I hope your birthday was great, and did you get anything other than some clothes by chance and what did you do to go out and celebrate?

I usually try and drive up to Chicago and go to a Cubs game for my birthday. Baseball tix there are pretty cheap and its only about a 4 hour drive there, so that's what I like to do, oh and stop and eat at the Outback Steakhouse. I always get the same thing, thier 10 ounce center-cut sirloin w/ garlic mashed potatoes and a salad w/ranch and usually get one of those french fry appetizers with the different kinds of cheese dumped on top with bacon and the ranch dipping sauce…mmmm. Makes me hungry for that place, it's too bad I'm an hour away from one.

I used to open up restaurants for a corporation. Whenever ppl bought a store, I would travel to that place and work with the owners on getting management, employees, I would do layouts and such, and train everyone. Pretty much it was my job to make sure the places opened up on time, and had successful opening and got off to a good start. First impressions are really important, especially in food. But that's where I started liking the 10 ounce center-cut sirloins b/c they have almost no fat on them so I don't waste my money on a steak that I don't get to even eat half of b/c there's too much fat or gristle. But when I had to quit to get my knee replaced, the store we had in my town closed down after I left, and now I only get them on special occasions. I don't know why I just mentioned all that, so I'm sorry, lol.

Yes I certainly did enjoy my birthday and I stayed home because we had a lot of snow where I live at. So it was good and quiet.

You don't just like things for no reason

Not true. Sometimes, there just is NO explanation. Just cause you like it doesn't mean you can explain it in every single detail. I don't why I like it, I just do. The story and everything probably, but just because you have a 100 page explaination about it doesn't mean you like it any better than me.

Sometimes, there is no reason. You just like it cause you do. Not everything can have an answer too it, just like why your sister likes this store. Why does she like it? She doesn't know, she just does. She's like me, no real explaination, you just do.

Maybe some people can't just can't explain it? Usually it would easier to come up with an explaination of why you hate something and why you like it. For me anyway. Whatever, I'm not gonna waste time arguging about this, as it's pretty stupid.

Back to the topic now.

Sometimes, there just is NO explanation.

It's easy to understand. It's all biological. The brain is sensitive to the outside world. When something is not interesting, it's a question of discipline.
