My Gamestop Is A Total Ripoff

Sorry to hear that your gamestop sucks, I been to several stores my self and I find a lot of the same problems. However I would like to say the one nearest to me is the best. I have gotten so much cool swag from them and they are really nice about it.

Here is a list of what I will have
Orignal promo box - got
lanyard - got
small window poster - got
advertising sheet over the register - just got to pick it up
Large box that looks like the game - picking up at the end of the month after the advertising period is over.

P.S.

I'm working on getting the small coming soon sign at wal-mart and the large advertising poster at the front door. the small one is almost a sure bet because my dad's the department manager. The large one may be a little harder, but I'm friends with managers.


I will post pictures of all this stuff when I get it.

I know most of the bigger stores have there own exclusive bonus, but do you think after a while they will all be available on XBL or PSN.

I know its says exclusive but i hope they are only exclusive for a limited time.

cause i have a choice to make of getting it at midnight tomorrow at walmart or waiting til noon at game stop.

I got the shirt at game stop earlier this week so i don't know if i want to wait til noon or get it at midnight it just comes down to getting it sooner….


What would you do:
it takes me 45 mins to get to gamestop or 15 to walmart what would you do walmart or gamestop ( i would get the money i had at gamestop back wednesday when i cancel there if i get it at walmart)

I just dont know lol
hope that made sense kinda tired here

I tried that at my local Wal-Mart, and got shot down…The manager said “They don't give them away anymore” (*egon)…

Just mentioning: JamesCgamoras signature webiste(noogaghostbusters.com) actually has a post about a gamestop that's haunted…


Apparently buyers get headaches, and experiance vertigo when using the demo stands(The ones with the console inside a glass box.)

Now THAT'S a ripoff, you can't even play the demo stands in the shop for free.

Ok, so an update on my situation…

I talked to another GameStop employee, who now seems to think it might be in on the 16th, as its “street dated and release dated” for that day.

I was also able to pick up my shirt and $10 movie coupon from GameStop yesterday. They had all the shirts in a box, with receipts taped to the tags to be sure that they had a shirt for the people who pre-ordered.

They just told me to call on Tuesday morning, because they said it might be in. In any case, I might be headed to Walmart at midnight tonight to get the Wii version… haven't decided yet.

The Wii version has it's own charm to it. I really like the art style they chose. I may check it out later down the road as a rental for shits and giggles

The PS3 version is on reserve at GameStop… I'm picking up the Wii version also cuz its ridiculously fun to play (I played it at NYCC and LOVED it) and its a bit different, not only the graphics, but other stuff too supposedly.
