Yours by far, is the best idea I've seen. I never cared for the fingers gimmick.

Yay looks much better now (^_^) If there is going to be a GB3 then that has to be the logo :-)

Aside from the curve of the 3, it kind of looks like a Euro symbol to me…

Could use a similar idea to yours to make a Euro-Ghostbusters logo…

The Euro's going to collapse soon…

I like this design by the way, but I'd go for the original logo. I think they should have used it for GB2 as well.

I should have mentioned it (I thought I did but turns out it was a reply to the “perfect gb3 logo” thread), that this would just be a promo logo, the original logo would still exist on all uniforms, car and the sign outside the firehouse. You can't change a symbol, but you can alter it for promos!

Imagine going to the cinema and you see this logo on a black background, you'd know it's coming. If you saw the original logo, most people would think, “Oh, it's been 20 odd years, they are re-running it at the cinema.”

I can't really see any similarities, when looking at it I see more of the original logo than mine. But yeah, I guess a backwards 3 looks like an E in the Euro design, good observation…
I guess you could use it to make a Euro-Ghostbusters(?) logo, not sure why you'd want to though.
