It's not about not having free speech, it's just that's pretty insulting when it's used in term of gay people… but for as much as I dislike Bill Murray's personal choices of recent… I wouldn't call him that.

true it is Akyroyd that is behind all the ideas , but no one else can be as deadpan and sarcastic as Murray for Venkman.

This is part of the ‘what if’ scenario… I bet that there could have been someone who wasn't Murray and made Venkman just as memorable… we just don't know because they never got that chance.

I don't think he would have been likable if he'd been played by John Belushi… but I bet there could have been someone else who could've managed the deadpan to a similar degree.

I was just about to bring that up myself. Belushi was a funny and great guy, But I couldn't imagine him as Venkman.

But if we're looking for another actor who can pull off deadpan humor, Ben Stein is your man :p

Gh0stbuster, nice cover under the circumstances. cdcovers.cc/ has a lot of covers (It's where I got a Gears of War cover for the basis of my own ‘GB: The Game’ cover. It might be of use to you.
