Hey spuds!
Way back in 1998 I made a “Klik and Play” game with graphics of the Ghostbusters made by Chris Hicks.
It was called “Ghostbusters ‘98” and it was a wee update from the old commodore 64 game. You had to go to each call and trap the ghost. There was a mix of other levels and in one level you got to play as Louis.
I was 15 at the time, it’s not perfect, the spelling if awful, but there ya go!
The story was set in ‘98 where the Ghostbusters had to re-form to face an evil foe Apocalypse, who was trapped inside a crystal in a cavern (cheesy, eh?). Whoever turned the crystal turned into a ghost, and if that ghost touched somebody else, then they turned into a ghost.
Below are some pics.
If anybody is interested I will put the game on the net somewhere for you to download.
Oh…and if I get time during writing my own film scripts, I am going to write a “Ghostbusters 3” script, it will pretty much be your typical fanboy script with Egon, Ray, Peter and Winston. If Harrison Ford can come back and crack the whip, then Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson can come back to nuke the spooks who won’t stay dead.
