Well it's really gettin there! I have some yellow tape I “borrowed” from work that will work nicely for the hazard stripes. The yellow paint wasn't workin out too well. :whatever: I might not worry about the vest for the time being. Got the stuff to do it, just have to cut the frame and the boxes and see if my maroon ball will work or if I'll still need to find something else. Then labels. The tanks are done, everything just needs to be mounted.






The gun needs some finishing stuff to be done, getting something for the band by the cone, the left handle is being worked on, then nothing as far as the cone has been secured(the screen material, sprinkler etc) The cone worked out better than I thought, would you believe a vegetable chopper? Some stuff got beat up a little on the gun, its okay I think, the movie ones don't exactly look pristine. The cap paint will be touched up a bit.

Overall, it's very exciting! I owe so much to my Dad for all his great help, ideas. There's no way I would have made it near this far without his help. Just trying to find time with our schedules to do work!

Got the handle done! Came out really great, a lot better than I could have hoped! The cone will be done shortly(sprinkler and screen) and then onto the main board and that good stuff, which I think should be fairly straightforward. Also found some hazard tape which will work out great! I think if I don't get labels, that sheet of Slimer7's will be alright for the time being. I'm wondering there was one that would probably look great printed on a clear label, it's the green CAUTION one since I think everyone's green is a little different. I'm not very good at that stuff but do you think it wouldn't be too hard to take out the green area? Or worst comes to worst, wipe the whole thing and just redo the red text.

For the ball on the side, wait until the holidays. Walgreens have these plastic shatterproof bulbs that are just the perfect size.

Funny you mention that :p I was thinking of goin back to Hobby Lobby and looking at some of theirs today since I know they had X-Mas stuff year round and I had found stuff that looked like it would work before. My dad called me this morning and said he was at Wal Mart and I guess they just got their X-Mas stuff in. The balls anyway! :-)

The zip tie is holding the loom together, the glue is probably dry now! The light makes the ball look a little brighter.



And the last one is just kinda a tease. As Janosz said, “It's happening. It's really happening!”

Feels great to be able to strap it on so far. Even with just the main tank! More work tomorrow!
