If you meant that GB should not be considered as a sci-fi movie, then a lot of movies from his list should not be in it…

I fail to see some Sci-fi in Ghostbusters, it's more of a fantasy-horror-comedy.

What I meant is that a lot of people view the Ghostbusters franchise in more of a Comedy light than a Sci-Fi light…so technically…he didn't have too list Ghostbusters in a Sci-Fi list was my point

Under that same philosophy Space Balls is a Sci-Fi movie, Blazing Saddles is a Western and Young Frankenstein is a Horror Movie…

Ghostbusters is an all out Comedy, but it can still be considered a Sci-Fi Comedy in same vein that Back to the Future and Men in Black are considered Sci-Fi Comedy.

Ghosts/Folklore and Parapsychology are pretty much forms of science and philosophy and when its blended with fantasy elements, that makes it Science Fiction. Even if you were just to pinpoint the technology aspect of the two films, which falls under science, the proton pack itself can be considered science-fiction.

i mean thats just my two cents.
