NECA doing action figures soon???

I was browing their web-site and noticed that they're doing Tron 2.0 figures, which most people know is also an upcoming 88 MPH comic. They also have GB headknockers. So, IF there will be action figures in the near future, will NECA make them?

That would be VERY cool considering that they do such a great job- I mean look at those statuettes? And the Gremlins figures? Wow.

I posted this before and now am starting to believe it more, but a guy at a local comic book store had said that they were sculpting those figures and he said they also did one of the hellraiser figures and it turns out NECA does those, so it seems very likely. Although it's possible he could've been referring to those statues, but hopefully figures are on the way. I don't supposed anyone that went asked them about that!?!?

BTW hopefully someone will recall me saying that on the board so as to not just look like I'm BSing.

The Tron 2.0 figures have been out for months. I almost picked up a couple at WW in Philly back in May. They're known for things like headknockers, novelty mugs, etc etc…but they've been breaking more into action figures recently. They made a big announcement at SDCC that they're going to distribute MotU mini-busts designed by the Four Horsemen, and as far as I know, that's the last announcement they've got planned at least until pre-toy fair in October.

It's possible NECA could do figures in the future if they happen…but I'd still rather see them from someplace like Palisades.
