Watch that attitude, or nobody will want to help you.

And just for your information, were it not for those “crap” sound files, we wouldn't have any Proton Pack sound effects to use.

Actually, those are probably the best sounding proton packs sounds I have ever heard. All the other ones I ever heard are either too low of sound or muffled.

To my knowledge, a clean version was never made available to the public, which means that you'll have to find someone who can rip a clean copy for you… if that's at all possible.(*winston)

The possibility exists that all of the RGB equipment sound effects are available out there somewhere on an SFX CD… because the various sounds can often be heard in TV shows, movies, commercials, anime, etc. However it's not the type of CD you'd find at a music store or on Amazon. And you'd most likely have to pay through the nose for it (licensing fees).

So there is a slight possibility that the game sound file (if it was never uploaded to the net) is also out there somewhere. But you'll probably never find it without insider knowledge and more money than you're willing to pay.

So again yeah, you'll either have to find a way to rip and edit it yourself, or find someone willing to do it for you.

Then of course, if you're planning on building a pack (which you seem to be hinting at) you'll have to figure out how to store the sound file, rig up a sound system that will play the file on cue, etc. etc.

No dude. What Kingpin is saying is that unless your attitude cleans up, no one will help you. No one likes people who are jerks to them, especially around here.

All the fan-made proton packs use the sound bit from the movie in the files that were given. So far NONE use the one from the game probably because the sound file could not be located.

I guess if someone has the PC version of the game could rip it out of the game, but you have to find someone willing to do it if you can't do it yourself.

Personally, I like the one from the movie because it actually sounds heavy in base ad powerful.
