One thing that has always bugged me about the Ghostbuster Proton Pack is that you don't see the handle twist anyway except in the original movie.

Any GB fan cannot help but notice, or at least I have, in the scene with Gozer after Venkman says, “Make em' hard!” Every cocks their Neutrona Wand like a gun making the wand longer.

Has anyone seen a prop that duplicates this. I can imagine it's pretty hard to duplicate this affect. (*winston)

It did twist… and several people have replicated it… I don't know how exactly, but its been done for sure.

Getting the front handle to twist is easy, however it did not actually extend the wand tip, that was done by the small green lever located next to the arrow box at the back of the wand. That mechanism has been what's hard to duplicate.

Thanks, I was wondering what the green level was for! I've seen in all the replicas online and never knew what that was for. I thought it was a extra wire or something. :-)
