Did you order from pibes-diecast?
I'm also considering canceling my order and go the eBay route.

I ordered from diecastmart on eBay, it's cheaper from him now as shipping is reduced by $10 from what I paid.

Instead of USPS Priority Mail InternationalTM it's now Standard Int'l Shipping.

Well mine finally arrived today and here are some pics showing how it was well packaged and my Blu-Ray next to it to show it's scale.

I can say it's almost like looking at pictures of the full size car.

Nice, might have to think about cancelling my purchase of that scale as well.

Do the red scopes rotate? Can they be turned around to face the right direction?

I did originally try and turn them around, but did not want to push too hard incase I broke it, will have another look at it later and report back.

Well I took the plunge and bought one of the 1:43 scale cars from eBay, saw a seller with one with 100% feedback a few mins after that, but I'm willing to risk it (mine was about 99.6% positive). Hope this investment pays off, because if it does then I'll just cancel my Play.com order for the smaller one.

Just tried moving the red scopes again and they do not move, everything is fixed and won't budge. The only thing I thought could of been done better are the ariels, they are not fixed on one end, they are simply tucked under the roof rack.

Blast… I don't understand how mistakes like that happen, a casual viewing of the movie shows they face forward 98% of the time, yet Hotwheels and the restorers managed to muck it up (same can be said about the front lightbar).

Think it would be possible to gently slice off the scopes, rotate, and glue them in another direction?
