quick question about the 1:43 scale car. Besides the size is it exactly the same as the 1:18 size? Particularly, does the back open and the gurney slide out with the packs on it? and all the other little details. I hope I'm not wrong I thought I saw a picture that demonstrated that.
thank guys!

Think it would be possible to gently slice off the scopes, rotate, and glue them in another direction?

It's pretty sturdy material, I wouldn't personally try it, but I'm sure there are enough people with the tools and the talent to do so.

Nothing opens on the 1/43 scale car, I can see through the windows and see the rack for the proton packs in the back, but it's such a small car it's hard to see the detail that clearly.

Here are some more pics in closer macro mode of the roof rack.

For how much these retail for, I'd honestly expected them to take a bit more care with the paint job.

Aside from that, good detail photos Batman. Nice attention to detail with the labels at the very least.

I looked at those photos again and realized that the light bar support brackets.. are not there? Odd…

I had noticed that, as well. Almost like the light bars were just glued to the top of the model?

That's what I'm thinking as well. So much for the 1:43 to be an accurate model lol.

Well I've now ended up with two of the 1:43 models (one from eBay, one from Play.com - I was waiting to see if the ebay auction would arrive first and if so, I'd cancel the Play.com order).

Guess I'll be cherry picking the better of the two and selling the other.

Heh, talk about timing… both of my orders arrived today at the same time!

The one I'm planning on selling:
