1:18 scale is bigger than the AMT/Ertl/Joyride model kits (which were 1:25 scale). It would be a die-cast model made by Hot Wheels, not a “Hot Wheels car”.

Look I'm not forcing you to buy this thing, I only say it's coming in a few months. Looking at what Mattel/Hotwheels did with the Batmobile I think it's worth the price. This is not a toy but a precision scale model for collectors. If you think it's not worth the money then don't buy it.

Wow, that looks pretty amazing. If I didn't think it was a model, I thought it would be from a car show.

That's a pic from the Barris Ecto from the Volo Auto Museum. I really do hope this gets made and is more accurate than the last 1:18.

It's way to early to expect pictures so any pics posted at this stage are either existing models, renders or 1:1 cars.
