Confirmed, the above Ecto-1 that Batman posted is going to be one of the ones Hotwheels are producing. Here's some more beauty shots:

Most impressive.

From the pics you just posted, King, it looks like there really isn't that much stuff on the roof-rack. It just looks like a lot from how it's arranged.

It's already on the Hotwheels Elite website.

I just found this image for Ecto-1 for the 1:43 scale model, not sure if it is the real deal as there are currently no final images that I have seen.

Taken from This Site

I've heard that this is only the prototype, but it's clear that the logo on the passenger side door is tilted a bit too far. I sincerely hope that Hot Wheels will be correcting this error on the final model and particularly for the 1:18 scale Ecto-1. Call me crazy, but I'm a stickler for detail and mistakes like that could dissuade me from buying.

Dissuade you from buying? Well, there's always the option to remove the decals and put some new ones on yourself.

I, ah…don't think these are “decals” per se. They're transfers, and they're next to impossible to remove, at least to my knowledge.

I received an e-mail about pricing and packaging this weekend:

The costs for the Ecto 1 and A Team Van are coming higher then expected. The reason for the price increases is that the Ecto 1 size is 1.6 times larger than a standard Ferrari and the model itself is closer in size to a 1/12th scale than to a 1/18th.
In 1/18 scale we will keep the opening engine cover, the 4-doors and the rear opening doors and all the features that were visible on the tooling model at the Nurnberg Toy Fair.
The A Team Van is larger than a standard Ferrari vehicle, in its 1/18 scale it will have the 2 and rear opening doors but not the sliding door as this would increase the price further. We will be able to keep all the other features you have seen at the Nurnberg Toy Fair.
The 4 models will be delivered in a closed box, each one featuring images of the vehicle and the Ghostbusters or A Team logo printed on it. This new packaging will increase the collectible value and it's in line with a standard of a higher end model.

Prices in Euros:
1:43 model €39,95
1:18 model €104.95

It's still only market speculation at the moment, I'd wait for something a bit more professional.

Speculation? The e-mail I quoted earlier is from Hotwheels.
What do you mean you want to wait for something more “professional”?
