Well I was just having another look online to see what the cheapest prices in the UK are and at the moment Play.com have both models listed the cheapest.

1/18th Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Classic Diecast Van - £129.99 Free delivery

1/43rd Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Classic Diecast Van - £54.99 Free delivery

Due for release on 25 November 2011.

Most other UK places seem to be another £20+ more, still going to wait closer to the time, hopefully Amazon.co.uk will have it listed by then and maybe a little cheaper.

How on Earth do they expect people to be able to afford those? Did the last large die-cast cost somewhere in a similar price range?

I got my ERTL Ecto-1 for about £35 I think, seems like these Hotwheels Elite Classisc are very expensive, they are all nearly over £100 each including the A-Team van.

The recent wave of expensive GB items like Puft, the larger Hot Wheels, and even the Lamps are really putting a dent in the old wallet.
