Sorry fellas, I had to do this. That pose Peter Venkman does is so….awesome.

can't wait to play

I agree, the pose is awesome… not sure your chosen quote really goes along with the pose, though.

I agree. I think something more like:

Peter Venkman
Back off, man, he's a scientist.

Personally, I'd go with Peter Venkman “the man who gets things done.” Oh yeah, I loled at Ecto-H20, is that the official name or a nickname for the boat, cause that's great.

They probably left the towers out, out of respect, but I do see your point about the time set. On the other hand, what if there is a GB fan who buys this game, who also knew somebody who died on Sep 11th, that would probably keep them from getting it, just because of the reminder…well if you really think about it, either way, whether they're there or not, it's still a sad reminder, so I guess it really doesn't make that much of a difference!

It's a fine line that no one really has an answer for.

For me, as a kid who spent time growing up in the City, it's a painful subject. But personally I'd rather see them and remember them rather than pretend they never existed.

I'd treat it the same as if I lost someone I loved. I'll always miss them, but I can't pretend they were never there.

Holy. Crap. I was watching the trailer again at work today, and attracted the rest of the office crew. All of whom were amazed.

The now-defunct Myst Online (Uru) had customization which was fairly simple, but doable. If there is an MMO option, they would have to allow customization so teams could keep track of everyone.

I can't remember where I first heard that name for it - but I think it would definately work!

it was already confirmed that during online play you and up to three others would choose one of the original ghostbusters to play as. which is why i don't think there would be customization. but it could always change from now till then.

Two things:

1.) The screen grabs are awesome. Thanks for sharing those.

2.) I think the WTC should be in there. If it's 1991, then yes, they existed, and while I respect and feel for the people who lost family, friends and loved ones, I don't go for the idea of “revisionist history”.

Either way, I'll play the fool out of this game.

The fool, I say.

I like how the Ecto Boat looks like the Orca from Jaws, my other favorite movie. In fact the concept art with Egon zapping the ghost shark is probably the coolest image I've ever seen in my life. Especially since the shark has a tombstone on its back that looks a lot like R2-D2 from another favorite movie of mine

Anyhow, I LOVE that they gave the GB's a boat.

As for the WTC, didn't mean to sound insensitive… I say if they were there in the time frame the game takes place, they should be in the game.
