hey guys!
I am looking forward to makeing a ghostbusters animated fan film but i need fans help! i was thinking about going with the story idea dan aykroid had with satan and new ghostbusters and all that but being the film is going to look like south park style animation because its the best i can do till i have a studio of my own im not sureif that would be the best rout. also if anyone wants to donate fan fics and see them animated maybe as part of a ghostbusters series to go along with the movie i will gladly do that as well . ohhh and i need voice actors too ! :-)

Not true, people are making professional quality series all the time. Hell, the flash series Xombie is getting a proper release to DVD animated feature film being made.
But I do have to ask, what's your experience? You seem incrediblt enthusiastic but I'm worried you don't have the experience and knowledge to pull it off… the goals don't seem that well defined and you're a little be all over the place.
I'm not trying to be an ass, but a project goes a whole lot better if it's laid out and planned.

yeah i am pretty all over the place . my main focus is to make a film 45-90 minutes long . my experance goes about as far as me doing a couple animation tests and thats about it . if anyone wants to send me an IM to ask me more about this and talk more in deph my aim name is superman2k1000 if anyone wants a mission statement i can write up one of those too . i just want to make a quality film for all the ghostheads who deserve it

Regardless of your skill, make whatever you want and don't let anyone stop you. Just make sure you don't break the fanfilm rule that so many in the GB community do and that's think your film's going to change the face of things. Having fun with it is plenty…

If I were you I'd create an animated short. Sort of around 4 to 5 minutes long. But make it look more lifelike than South Park. By making it an animated short, you can spend more time making it look good. First write a script for it and sketch out some of the ideas for various scenes. Just create a 5 minute long Ghost catching scene, but make it funny. I'm not telling you what to do, but that's what I'd like to see.

Well I'm of course gonna be split on this idea. GB:TAS is my baby, lol, so I don't want competition. But in the same token, its great to see a new project, and since GB:TAS is having animator problems right now, I'm not sure when our next episode will be out.

no competition just someone who has worked on this project in the past got about 7 minutes done back in 2002 and then had his comp crash its something ive been meaning to work on again sooooo im starting it once again. and is the gb:tas website even still round ? ive been to gbanimated.tk and i get nothing anymore ??? i miss the cartoon it was really good and kept not only the spirit of the movies alive but also that of rgb.
