Greetings fellow Ghostheads!

I know that for some this might come as another one of those lame announcements about a FanFilm that some may believe they'll never hear anything of again past this post. I can only offer my assurance that the only reason that we are coming out about it now is that we wanted to be sure that it was going to happen before we started making several promises without being able to back them up.

With that, I would like to announce the following:
Auditions!
Local Production Company is holding Auditions for an upcoming feature-length; Sci-Fi Comedy Fanfilm and we need actors and actresses!
This will be a LOW budget film so we are looking for local talent who want to get their faces out there and get noticed.
This film will get great exposure across the US as it is going to be an Internet released project as well as shown to a few Hollywood big-wigs.
We are looking at the rating to be between PG & PG-13 so nothing compromising will be expected.

PARTS:
Multiple female parts between the playable ages of 20-25
A few male parts between the playable ages of 20-25
MANY “1-2 liner” roles for all ages as well as some WELL TREATED background players (extras)

Sides will be provided at the auditions and you MAY have a prepared 3 min. audition piece for us IF YOU WOULD LIKE. Not required, but helpful. Headshots and Resumes not required, but VERY helpful.

Location:
We will be holding these at the Main Salt Lake City Library (210 E. 400 S.) in conference room D. These will be on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE basis, so arrive early.

Time and Date:
Friday, June 1st from 3:15p-5:30p
Saturday, June 2nd from 2:15p-5:30p
Callbacks will be held the following weekend.

The title of this film will be released along with some pre-publicity shots of the actors once they have been selected.

My hopes are that this FanFilm will find it's place on many of our DVD shelves someday right beside Freddy vs. Ghostbusters, Return of the Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters: Spook University, Ghostbusters: UK, Ghostbusters: Generation, and dare I say it, next to the original movies themselves. Too bad I am not in Utah anymore.

How will the story begin? The background of the story? For example, I know Hank braxtan “The Return Of The Ghostbusters” is based on a relative of one of the Ghostbusters in New York and he started Ghostbusters business in Colorado. While “Ghostbusters Generation” is based on someone who wants to bring the Ghostbusters business back in operation after it been closed down.

If only I was in Utah… I'd love to get involved in something like this, and having just graduated from college but not being able to find a job, this would've been perfect if it was in PA.

Greetings Ghost-heads! It's been awhile since our last post, but I don't want to report anything but good news.

We have successfully completed our first three days of filming and are preparing for a fourth on Wednesday. While preproduction took a little while to get off of the runway, production itself is soaring high with no complications. We have a kick-butt team working on camera, lighting, and sound.

The costumes are completely finished and the props are currently about 85%. This is always a thrill seeing as how I'm usually the one that's up at 2 a.m. working every night before we film!

We are trying to set up a photo shoot within the next two weeks to give you a taste of our new franchise and its members. And to answer what questions we can as one of the newest Ghostbuster franchises.

More details will be coming as well as promotional pics, we just wanted to let everyone know that we aren't dead, be we are here to bust those who are!
