I don't know why so many people are hating Sanctum of Slime so much. I personally think it looks decent! Especially for price etc. I'm excited and will down load it as soon as it's released for both Ps3 and 360 /:-)

I agree, it looks superb. Dunno why some people are complaining about the trap mechanism, though, because the 2009 game gave me some real problems with it. Like, "move the controller stick just a millimeter too much, and…aygh, I gotta go through it again?!"

Regarding the complaints about the trapping element: my complaint is that they have effectively taken it out completely. Ghostbusters without trapping isn't much different from any other shooter. It's the trapping element that makes it “Ghostbusters.” I thought it was handled very well in the 2009 VG and at least made you work to get it (well, before you bought the slammer upgrade). It gave the game just that much more realism. (In my opinion at least). Now, “trapping” is only used for bosses, and it's nothing like working towards trapping the ghost, it's just button-mashing. With so much that appears to be re-used from the ‘09 VG - they took out one of the few things that should have been left in.

Sorry - just realized I kind of hopped up on a soap box there. That’s my major pet-peeve about the game. I understand they wanted to quicken the pace of the game, but I think they went too far on that front.

I just checked on the OXM site (the mexican version) that the game price will be 800 MP, I thought it will be 1200… nice price, uh?

The description of the trapping mechanic for some reason reminds me of the Zootfly GB game demo.

I can't really imagine a trapping system as seen in the first game really work in a top down shooter, tbh, it would slow down the game to the point of too easiness. At least they've contrived to make a plot point of it - even if it's a clumsy plot point, it's still slightly more gracious than just ignoring it altogether.
