Looks to be a game to download on PS3 Xbox and PC

Atari and Sony are teaming up for Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, a new video game scheduled for release on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Windows PC Download. Players take the role of the rookie, hired by the original ghostbusters in 2009's Ghostbusters: The Video Game, which sold more than 1 million copies.

Wow! That first screenshot has kind of a Diablo III feel to it.
That second shot has kind of a Grand Theft Auto feel to it, which I can only describe as Classic Win.

“Promised are gigantic bosses that require teamwork and the entirety of the ghostbusting arsenal: the proton stream, plasma inductor and the fermion shock.”

Fermion shock??
Plasma inductor??

"Players take the role of the rookie, hired by the original ghostbusters in 2009's Ghostbusters: The Video Game"

Sounds like it takes place in the same canon as GB:TVG but afterwards.
This is kind of bittersweet news for me, as I was sort of hoping for a sequel to GB:TVG from Terminal Reality done in third person. I figured this was a given if/when GB3 gets an official announcement.

“Players do get a perk in that, for the first time, they get to drive one of the Ghostbuster mobiles, the Ecto-3.”
Sounds great. How about the Ecto-1, you know, for a laugh?

“being developed by Wanako.”
If anyone wants to check them out:

“The four-player adventure game – playable locally or online…”
I'm not so sure about this. I don't like developers forcing me to wait around for other players to join my game before I start. Hopefully you'll have the option to go ahead and have players join you in progress a la GB:TVG. Or have the other players controlled by the CPU…

EDIT: Studying those two screencaps closely, it looks as though they've used source material from GB:TVG to make this. The cars on the street look identical, and the graveyard level looks surprisingly familiar…

Does anyone see this game announcement as another clue towards a GB3 release/reality?
