For those of us who have no idea, could someone please tell me what the hell is a Widget? Is that something I would only care about if I had an Iphone or a phone of that variety?

Pretty much this, whats a Widget, and oh boy, I don't want to get a facebook, I already have a MySpace page that I don't already use.

Widget: a software application used for recieving information directly from the web, to a desktop or mobile phone. It's basically an application that you can use to get up to date info for GB:TVG, without actually having to open up a web browser.

BTW! You DO NOT have to have a Twitter/Myspace/Facebook account to use it, but if you do, this will allow you connect to them.

And +1 on the not wanting to get a Facebook, Jonathan, IMHO, there ALL just a waste of space.(*peter)

Well, like I said, I already have a MySpace which very rarely gets used at all and now people are jumping all over Twitter as well, wonder how long it'll be before something else like that gets made.
