New interview with Harold...

First off…. O.O Ramis needs a major Haircut!!!

Second, to be honest, I think if Ramis thinks it can be done well, then with the right cast, I think it can indeed be done. New Ghostbusters, after actually RPing the idea (yes, I'm a nerd) isn't so bad to me now.

This is definitely the confirmation we've all been waiting for! Huzzah!

But with Judd Apatow signed on as a producer, the Internet has been buzzing with gossip that comedians from his cinematic universe, such as Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen, will join in.

Wow, is this confirmed?

Wow, is this confirmed?

Actually it's been confirmed that it's not happening (as of now):

Ivan has said since the late 90's that he wouldn't be interested in directing this one.

Yeah Ivan said he would probably produce the film, but not direct it.

I actually remember hearing that back in the day.

But Why? is there a reason behind it? it only makes perfect sense for him to direct it.

i dont know who else would be perfect enough to do it.

There is a article on Comcast Entertainment News about this along with fan comments:

atleast those fans share my opinion on the Apatow crowd. i honestly dont want Apatow or his minions to touch the movie with a ten meter cattle prod.

but i think i've crossed that point, many times. im sorry if i sound like a bitchy fan boy, but if a movie i've been waiting 10 years for is to be made, it should be done 100% right. and have the ‘new’ cast be GOOD actors, and not just picking popular ones for the soul sake that they're popular and ‘attract’ an audience. they dont need to, its friggin Ghostbusters, it has not been forgotten, the game will spark more hype, and people have been wanting Ghostbusters 3 ever since Ghostbusters 2, its bound to be huge no matter what. so flavor-of-the-week (and unfunny) “actors” are not in any way necessary.

His hair kind of looks like it's glued on lol. Well, hair cut, maybe a little dye and he'll be good as new.
