Now I'm seeing personnal requests and hopes, I see negative threads, posts and arguments based on discord over what we should or should'nt do.

My purpose here is to interact with the community, to receive feedback on what we do, to answers some questions like the ECU one,

In no way I am here to be told what to do or take individual stories or ideas, or tell individuals to rest assured I will do whatever I can to please their personnal wishes.

Some wants Egon and Jeanine to be in love, some don't, some wants me to use what has been dubbed has cannon, some are making clear posts to not screw with continuity, etc, etc.

I'll let the comic speak for itself, I can't possibly please everybody.

Will we get to see into the containment unit? Cause if so the GB DVD has some good concept shots of what the inside of the containment unit would have looked like when it still had a scene in the movie. I think it would be cool to see inside there and see all the ghosts milling about. Maybe even plotting revenge, who knows…

If space wasn't an issue, Ray probably wouldn't have said “it's getting crowded in there”. Maybe they figured out a way to get around the space issue that isn't a micro-dimension, maybe space still is an issue, we just don't know. It'd be nice if we did know, though(blatant hint to any 88mph folks reading)

OK, 1) Ray didn't say that lol, it was Egon “I'm worried Ray, it's getting crowded in there and all my data points to something big on the horrizon” (then they get into the spleal about the Twinkie

2) you're over analyzing things lol, it's a comic, it's gonna be done however it's done, I'm just glad it's coming out!

3) I like the RGB containment unit over the movie unit, why, and yes I'm analyzing it lol, becuase it's more practical then “wow, a prop on a wall” kinda dealy

so…lets see…anything else for this post…ummm today should have been previews day and I didn't call damnit….*makes a note to call tomorrow* ^_^

Believe me, MOST of us absolutely appreciate it. However, it's difficult sometimes not to express personal wants when you find that you have access to people that can “make it happen”. Hopefully, as you're here more, people will better learn their limitations and start controlling themselves better.

Well I haven't said anything yet so… I'd just like to say that I think it all looks great Seb. I think it's great that a representative of the project is taking the time to interact with the fans, and please tell the team back at 88mph to keep up the excellent work!

Also, (I don't know if anyone has commented on it yet but) I like the “Explorers” avatar you've got there (oddly I've been referred to as both “Egon” and Wolfgang" in the past).

Toygeek has a point We're not, as Winston once said, “over privilaged 9 year olds”, so we can't have our way all the time. We got a comic (and several other GB goodies) coming our way, leave it at that!

If you keep on complaining and moaning about every little detail then we'll hear NOTHING else about the comic until it gets released, that will make me, along with many others here, sad.

So, I thank you Sebastian (forgive me for mis-spelling as I suck at spelling LOL) for providing us with all the inside info you can! (this is on behalf of all the behaving members LOL).

If you wanna bitch, do it in your head, because basically we're all here to see a great GB comic, and I think the boys (and girls) at 88MPH Studios are going a wicked job, even my friend (who's not a GB fan), she thinks they're doing a great job

(yes I'm trying to suck another person into the realm of Ghostbusters ^_^)

I think the fact that you are entertaining anyone's notions, and coming here at all Speaks Volumes. I really enjoy reading what you have to say on all the subject matter. Because it shows that you actually have given things a lot of thought before you went ahead with any ideas or concepts. Keep up the fantastic work, as each day passes I grow more eager to have these babies!

i see this new GB comic just as i see the new novels, RGB, GB-RPGs and everything else outside the movies… their own each little universe. contradiction from RGB shouldn't matter…. the comic is based on the first movie. contradiction with GB2 shouldn't matter… IT'S BASED OFF THE FIRST MOVIE! let the 88mph crew have their freedom in making the comics…. we are lucky enough they came onto this board asking for our opinions, and i'm sure i speak for everyone when i say we would hate to see him go! sheeesh…. have faith, don't go saying the community would be better off with NOTHING that with contradictions to previous media which has nothing to do with the new stuff…. let them do their voo-doo that the doo-doo.

I hope I haven't offended you, Bastien. It's just that, I'm not your typical woman. Unlike most laydees, I find romance soooooo BORING! I use it basically to cure any insomnia episodes I have :-) . I've found that having you around is very helpful, so that I, and others can offer suggestions.

If romance is going to be in the comic, I hope it's Peter trying to hit on women without success. Just the way he would come onto women in the film made me laugh.

Another idea for the Egon/Janine relationship is this: okay, if you've seen Frasier, you'll know that in the first few seaons, Niles was in love with Daphne, but she was oblivious. Just seeing that, added to the hilarity of the show. It was that invisible tension between them. But then when they did get together, the show lost that edge. So like what Roshangar said in one post, “I'm old-fanshioned in the belief that the Egon/Janine relationship should be kept in eternal limbo with Janine chasing him, and he being oblivious.” I also never thought of Egon as being the type who was interested in pursuing that kind of relationship anyway.

I know you can't please everyone, but I just like to give suggestions. That's all I do.
