Now I'm seeing personnal requests and hopes, I see negative threads, posts and arguments based on discord over what we should or should'nt do.

My purpose here is to interact with the community, to receive feedback on what we do, to answers some questions like the ECU one,

In no way I am here to be told what to do or take individual stories or ideas, or tell individuals to rest assured I will do whatever I can to please their personnal wishes.

Some wants Egon and Jeanine to be in love, some don't, some wants me to use what has been dubbed has cannon, some are making clear posts to not screw with continuity, etc, etc.

I'll let the comic speak for itself, I can't possibly please everybody.

Sorry for the tone of this post, but if my time here is not appreciated for what it is I'll simply stop coming by.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I enjoy your posts very much and wouldn't dare try to tell you what to do or do anything that would cause you to leave this site. Although it is expected that once the comic does come out, some people may love everything about it or be very critical of it. I for one am glad that GB is being reborn. I'll take GB in any form I can and won't make one complaint about it. I hope you'll still keep us company here.

Folks, Mister Clavet has been very patient with us, and we shouldn't forget that. If this continues to take turns to his displeasure, I assure you that the offending posts will be deleted.

I know we all have things we do and don't want to see…but please, let's just wait to see what happens. If you don't like it then, say so, but let's trust these guys–they've…they've earned it.

Now…

About the Containment Unit and the “micro-dimensions”…I never thought Ray and Egon set out to build a micro-dimension in their basement either. I figure it was created by the concentration of ectoplasm and PKE within the ECU, and in the cartoon continuity it was by studying that phenomenon that Egon eventually invented the dimensional transit technologies he plays around with in “Egon's Ghost” and the Now comics (ie the ECTO-4) Just a theory, and one with no bearing on the new comic unless Sebastien or Mister Dabb decide otherwise (^_^)

Of course, we all do. Finding out tidbits of (or in our case tons of) information before something comes out creates anticipation for the fan base. Such as a gaming company produces gameplay trailers, screen shots, and then a background story for the game all to pump up their users into buying the game.

Sebastien (that looks spelled wrong) is doing the screen shots, background story (somewhat) and the gameplay trailers (kinda LOL) for us so that we'll be all pumped up for the comic (mind you ever since I found out it was going to be a comic then I was pumped much like everyone else here), but I think that we should stop trying to be greedy moblins and take what he's kindly given to us because he's providing us with some kick ass stuff to be able to put our imagination to.

I think the ECU looks great how it is, I think the art for the comic rocks and wouldn't necessarily change a thing. 88MPH has captured as much of the guys as they could possibly without going out on a limb and spending an arm, a leg and probably a few teeth to buy a license to use the likenessess of the guys.

I mean heck, they even pulled the fact that Peter doesn't tuck his pants into his boots, that's detail for ya (if you remember in RGB they all tucked their pants neatly into their boots…then again they never really changed clothes LOL).

Who cares about if Egon and Janine fall in love, yeah it'd be an interesting twist in the plot but that's not what Ghostbusting is all about. Ghostbusting is all about 4 weird guys going out in rediculously odd jumpsuits with a big, not to mention illegal , nuclear accellerator on their backs and driving around in a hella old car with all this fancy cool stuff on the top of the car. That's what Ghostbusting is to me. I could care less if there's a love interest in the comic, simply because Ghostbusters wasn't a romance It's a comedy/sci-fi movie and that's what Ghostbusters remains to be to me today.

So, as I've mentioned before keep all your bitching, moaning, and whining to yourself because Sebastien is doing us a FAVOUR by giving us lots of inside info. He does it because he knows we'll eat it up. You don't see your friend coming by to do a facour for you just to be mocked or bitched at do you? So I think Sebastien deserves a pat on the back, a good dunk in the slime tank, and a round of applause because he's generously offering as much info as he can at this time.

Sebastien, thank you for the detailed post on the ECU and being a follower of ghostbusters tech I look forward to the Technical Manual. Whats your theory on why the Ghostbuster-verse didn't collapse at the end of GB1?

Et j'aimerais à appologize si j'ai semblé le genre de grossier de la chose de continuité. C'est seulement cela, ma Maman a dit une fois que toujours je tiens vrai à mes croyances, n'importe que. Même si le résultat était mauvais pour moi. La continuité et les Faits sont les choses les plus importantes me quand il s'agit de Ghostbusters. Je viens de vouloir empêcher la contradiction avec n'importe quelle information d'arrière-plan sur les gars. Je suis aussi excité à entendre parler de vos projets possibles pour un guide de techinical. Si vous avez besoin de n'importe quelle aide, ne faites pas avec cela hesistate pour me contacter. Thats cool. And thats how you feel. For me I like the little sub plot of the girl trying to win over the quiet smart guy. Do I want every issue to be about Egon and Janine? No. And I can only speak for myself, but that is one thing that really caught my attention, for better or worse. Without that somehow woven into the story I doubt I will pick up the comic monthly. If it never happens, or if the subject is never touched on, so be it. But for me the simply story of four guys chasing ghosts was great when I was a little kid, but I need a little more adult themes now.
