Yes, but you never needed the box art to tell you that, seeing as it was one of the options in their poll which after the PKE, and the Trap, will be the most realistic to produce and build.

So was the proton pack, however, Ben, which you seem dead set on them never making.

Not saying you don't want it made, but you seem to think they absolutely won't make it.

The logic should work both ways. The goggles were part of the poll, so they will logically be next, but the proton pack was part of the poll and they won't ever be made?

If they can make an awesome trap for 135ish, I'm sure they can make a pack for less than 500.

I think the next prop will be the goggles and they will be around same price as pke meter

The pack will be around 400 with lights and sound.

But we will see.

I will get that scan up tonight after work

Not saying you don't want it made

I don't think it'd be made, and I personally don't want it to be made. I don't think it'd be cost effective to make a full Pack with the functionality that the other props have had, and it's likely it won't be wearable, based on Master Replicas reporting that they couldn't make the Proton Pack wearable due to Rubies.

ITs hard to tell with the camera but look all 4 of 5 packs you can see they used dixie hooks

Also the red tubing on the barrel tip are all the same length

Also note the oversized powercell fins

zoom in the barrel tips

You do not have to go with my assumption but it may be possible that a very nice affordable proton pack may be on the horizon.

That doesn't really prove anything.

Looks like they had one Proton Pack prop to pass around between the 4/5 of them, and each one was photographed separately with it. It also looks like it's probably a fan replica given the use of the Dixie hook.

Agreed, there's no basis for the assumption that it's a “Mattel prototype”.

Got to love the wonders of Photoshop. I mean, clearly that image is shopped. I've seen many shops in my day, I can tell from the pixels.

As I said this is my own hunch.

I can be wrong but.. I might be right as well.

We will have to wait and see.

It would be great if they make a pack.

Completely agree. I would love an affordable pack with lights and sounds. And it's entirely possible that it will be made.
