No Legion TPB (yet), no Ecto 1 litho, now a Venkman litho?

Holy. I still haven't received the Ecto 1 litho from Diamond Comics dist through my comics shop. The GB: Legion book hasn't come out yet. I've no idea if these were cancelled because the cancel lists hasn't come for that Previews catalog yet. Maybe they were cancelled from lack of orders? Hopefully we'll find out eventually. But the 88MPH site states an update about the TPB to be done by the printing group. So maybe there were enough orders from the comic book store levels? But what a sad way to capitalize on this for Halloween. The book probably won't make it out for that.
Yet now theres going to be a Venkman litho based off the Dan Brereton painted variant covers from the 4 books of the fab 4. Why keep doing these other things and yet not have your other stuff come out? Seems to be too much the same story from 88MPH. And why make these lithos of the fab 4? Is it going to further fundings of the Ecto 1 copyright situation? At that rate we'll never see an ongoing comic of the GB's.
Pretty sad that the Legion trade may come out before the Legion hardcover ever comes. Feel sorry for you folks who did order the latter. Theres just no progress with 88MPH.

Last I heard, and this was from people on Weaver Hall, that there'd been customers who had gotten their Ecto-1 Lithographs and I haven't actually seen any complaints off of WH about the Ecto-1 Litho… so I presume most who ordered it, got it.

I assume you've talked to Diamond about not having it?

The 88MPH web site said the book was going to be published (finally) in the fall, and it's still October.

Why he does it? Probably to still try get a profit from something and to show, even in a weak way that 88MPH is still trading.

What's wrong with having lithos of the fab 4?

It's pretty much assumed there will be no ongoing comic.

The Legion trade probably is meant to be the hardcover… he probably opted for softcover to either save money… or because he didn't have enough for a hardcover printing.

I remember way back when, 88mph said that they would eventually offer lithos, posters, banners, etc to coincide with the comic. This was before or around the time of the original printing of the comics. I was all set to buy whatever I could. But now, I really don't want to deal with the company any longer. I would have totally bought up all these lithos IF there had been a long running comic - but seeing as there are just the four comics and a possible hard cover of the compilation, there will be not be the same nostalgia from the new likenesses of the ghostbusters, as there would be from a picture of the actual actors or the RGBs.

I purchased an Ecto-1 litho direct from the 88mph website and have received it. Although, like others I'm still waiting for the hardcover to be released.

To my knowledge, the Ecto-1 litho itself hasn't come through Diamond comics shipping to comic book stores yet. I've checked the release shedules archives. So what the hell's going on? It don't matter to me if I don't get it or not though. But since the product is already available, you get my point right?

Sounds like your problem is with Diamond.

I didn't want to start my own thread for this.

But my Ecto 1 lithio showed up today at my comic store. June 07 is the date on it, I'm not sure if that means I ordered it then or it was supposed to be released there. Either way….I got it.

Finally.

As Kingpin said, “Another satisfied customer on an extremely short list.”

Same month the GB:TVG will be released? Well, I hope Seb take profit of it and make it real.
