Just to give you an idea on how I want things to change, below is a snippit of converstation from the mod board and below is my view on the matter. Let me first state that back is not wrong in saying what he is saying, he is just used to doing things the old way. I hope this shows you how I view this change to empower nobody else by YOU, the community.

Id like everyone here to submit a list of members currently here that have serious issues. first on my list thus far is Brian Reilly for not only making personal remarks bashing me by talking about my fiance. thats below the belt, but isnt that what “they” do best? but downing the wonderful ideas to soon become reality as well. lets all work together and find some solutions to these problems. please reply with other troubled members. thank you.

Instead of creating these “lists”, I think we should look at things on a case by case basis.

This is the kind of mod structure I don't want. We are all members of the community. Despite what people may do on the boards, there shouldn't be a view that they are our enemies.

The new mod structure will enable the communities value structure to bleed through. Therefore while the mods will take care of situations, the community members will support most mod decisions and the community will have a more unified approach at dealing with issues.

I know this is sorta off topic, but is the system of several MODs voting to ban a person being dropped for something like a community vote?

You guys do realize that none of this kind of crap is helping. You don't like the way things are being done, fine. Leave, and go start your own site. But if you're going to hang out here, why does it make sense to bash on the guy in charge. Regardless of any problems people may have with Chad, he's still currently in charge. You're just going to have to learn to deal with that.

The fact of the matter is, message boards are not a free country. They are subject to the rules put forth by those that own/run them. Some places have more lax rules than others, but in a lot of cases, especially when you're representing a particular section of fandom, there are specific reasons for every rule that is made. Some of which we'll never know the reason for, some of which we will.

I think some people around here really just need to grow up.

I never said we can't have rules, HELLO. I am in favor of rules, we were discussing this before Chad came and took over like Castro. I didn't have a personal beef with Chad, you proved my point. “Bash the guy in charge.” Why is he the head honcho? Cuz he pays for the space? We were making preparations to move this board as soon as we figured some details out. Because Chad was going to shut it down. But in the meantime he was nice enough to let us continue using his web space until we could. Now I wonder why. *rolls my eyes*
