Below, each user should have ONE message, just ONE message which they can edit if they wish. This post should contain the following:

Well, I'd like to nominate myself, if I can do that. I'd like to be a mod of either the GB section, paranormal, or misc., that's also the order of what I'd prefer. I want to be a mod because I spend alot of time on this site as it is and I'd like to help out the comunity in any way that I can, I care alot about this place and want to make sure that it is the best that it can be, if not better. I feel that I'd be good at enforcing the rules and making sure that everything is running smoothly. I'm also neutral on most of the political issues here, which doesn't mean that I'm not willing to get involved, but rather means that I can come up with a rational solution that can compromise both sides of whatever the issue is at hand.

I was able to come up with five people who I think should be mods:

Icer Rose - He did a great job when he was an admin. her and I think tha he should get his position back.

The Bondo Bandit - I think he'd be a good misc. mod because he spends alot of time in that forum and he also helped to make sure that everyone had a reasonable sig pic size.

Master Spider - He said in the nominate mod groups post that he'd like to be a misc. mod, and he seems to care about how things are being run around here.

Spengs - Spengs would make a good GBI mod, he spends alot of time in that forum and said he's been trying to get that position since day one.

The Razors Edge - I think he should be a GB section mod, he's pretty active around the site and I think that he'd make a good mod.

actually i am a mod , but thanks for the vote bluto . i don't know if i still will be after all the voting is done , i guess i'm just temporary , but i do like being a mod . i vote for me , i'm pretty easy to get along with , power doesn't go to my head , and i'm fair .



i'm mainly gunning for the misc section , and since thats where i spend most of my time i really can't vote for other sections because i don't know who really is on the up and up , but i'll just list some people that i think would be good (but not for specific sections )

Spengs, definitly. He could either be in the GBI or the General forum. I've found him to be mature and respectful.

Bondo would be cool for the Misc. section. As far as I know, he's been cool-headed.

Master Spider also gets my vote. Don't have any qualms about him being a mod.

Shadow_WeaveR did a good job on the Paranormal forum.

Others that get my vote: Castewar, Texasgb, Zack, River_of_Slime, LordVego, and Icer Rose.

I believe zack doesnt want to moderate anymore, thanks for the vote.

but other than that…i say i should be a mod…because i know what i am doing…some people dont…i show no mercy…lots of people do…people like me…yes…they always will..oh i forgot, because protoncharger is a ninja and he will flip out

Although I never said you couldn't nominate yourself, please nominate others as well.

I think we should nominate people now, but keep it open… New mods should be constantly choosen, if there are exemplary members that deserve to belong to all the various groups, they should be in that group! On GBN no new mods were ever picked so the people that tried and helped out turned bitter and resentful cause nothing ever happened…

I don't really like to hop into these this early on in the game, but I guess I'm going to have to. I usually like to stick to waiting to see what the majority vote is already, but I suppose I'll mention:

Spengs, because he's done a stellar job upkeeping with GBI for now, and I appreciate because it seems as though we've been to hell and back and he's still managed to do a good job.

Shadow_Weaver, let's face it, has the most paranormal knowledge of anyone on this board, so he'd be perfect for the Paranormal forum.

Dr. Riddle is doing an awesome job in the comic forum just helping everyone out, and he's always been that way.

River_of_Slime is a really knowledgable person when it comes to the movies, and he's an easy to talk to guy, so I say he's a shue in for the Ghostbusters forum.

It's unfortunate that Zack doesn't want to do it anymore, but if he does, he gets onto the top of my list, because he's the best moderator in the history of this place, period.

Saber_holder is a smart guy, and the time that I was a mod, he did a great job being a mod as well. He gets my vote for a Misc. section mod.

Sinister is an all around good guy, who does a good job with GBI, and I know from experience working with him. He's also a knowledgable guy of the paranormal, so he gets my nod as well.

I'm going to add M. Bison. He's got the experience, and the fact that he's new here will tighten things up a bit and make it a little less political around here.

As far as I go, I see alot of people are mentioning me already, and I appreciate that, and to anyone I didn't mention, please don't take it personally, and I could be adding and changing my mind a few times before this is done anyway, but please, don't be angry at me. That's the main reason I wanted to stay out of this in the first place.
Anyway, If I get anymore nominations, I'd like to ask that they be in either the Misc. Forum, due to the fact that I'm easy to deal with and likeable, so it helps to make me look like less of an authority figure (which I'm not really anyway.)
Paranormal forum, my knowledge on the paranormal is truely shaping, I've been studying it alot lately it seems, and I feel I could lend a strong hand to that area.
GBI is the last, although I feel that It would be best if I stayed out because of all of the crazy events that always seem to take place, but being there in the past I know what's going on. Again, I'm not trying to plug myself, just stating what I'm thinking right now, that's all.

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that just for the record, I hate spelling errors. So lots of my time as a mod was spent cleaning up spelling for people so it's easier for everyone to read, so I was always keeping busy.

Also, is there anyone around here that's looking to be a mod for the prop section? Because I haven't seen much talk about that yet. All I can think of is AJ Quick himself, but I guess he doesn't want the job. Any suggestions?
