I'm with Vego and weaveR on that one. Though I believe that many of the GBMB moderators (such as Zack, as weaveR mentions) will probably not want to be reintated, they should all at least be offered the option.

EDIT: A few I wish to point out specifically:

Castewar. Great guy, one of the pillars of the GB community. Definitely a Ghostbuster Guru or Genius.

Kingpin. In Vincent Belmont's absence he shared the responsibililties for the Fan Fic approval; Fan Fic/Fan Projects Mod, or even a Ghostbuster Guru/Expert (wait until the Ghostbusters Fact List comes out, you'll see what I mean…)

Shadow_weaveR. Is there any doubt that that guy OWNS the Paranormal Forum???

Jesusfreak. He might not take it, but he's another pillar of this community. (Heck, forget Mod, this guy could be Admin material.) Site Crew, Props (especially if AJ won't come back), Ghostbuster Guru, or even GBI (because of his hard work with GBInc)

Netsolo. Again, might not want the job–he's awful busy. But another pillar of the community.

Dr. Riddle. Even if he wan't a good friend, he's been helpful to others and his enthusiasm is contagious. General Ghostbuster Mod type.

Another Edit: As Spengs says on the next page, he's quite busy with the GBI board. He's doing a superb job with it, too…so I bow to his wishes and retract my nomination of him.

(And anybody else I missed….it doesn't mean I don't thhink you did or are doing a bad job, these are just the ones that stand out with me…)

Honorable Mention:

AJ and Zack have already resigned, which is understandable but unfortunate. AJ would OWN the Prop forum, and Zack is just good all around.

Bondo Bandit wasn't a Mod until recently, but I agree he should stay. If nothing else, for locking PeterVakman123's latest pointless thread and thus earning our gratitude. Keeper for Misc.

Two names that are not mentioned yet come to mind:

Vincent Belmont has been on prolonged absence from the community, but a Fan Fic/Project Mod position should be offered him if his circumstances ever allow his return. He did a hell of a job.

The one person I thought was glaringly (though I doubt intentionally) passed over when GBMB was instituted: Sinister. Like Kingpin, he shared the fan fic duties in Vince's absence, but not being online when the “Who Wants to Be a Mod?” thread was run in the middle of the night cost him. Either Fan Fiction or possibly Paranormal.

(EDIT: Oops…Bondo mentioned him…my bad…)

river_of_slime I would like to nominate me b/c i know alot about the movies but not much about the cartoons, but i do help people alot when it comes to movies, i also love looking up Gb's refences and news iteams.

Mel Shes a wonderfull person and she knows her stuff when it comes to websites and Gb's. Plus she gets along with alot of people.

Stayinpuft He knows a lot with Gb's he loves the movies and the cartoons, plus he knows about more refences then anybody i know and he puts them on his site.

*Edit* Jesusfreak Oh he knows his stuff when it comes to the movies, cartoons, websites, franshices, and props his like the renicance man of Gb's so thats why i nominate him

gbmasterman He doesnt know alot about the movies but he surly knows his props and he can help beginners b/c his a beginner to

Well, considering that I am no longer a vital part of this board after clownshoes was reinstated. I feel that it is my right to voice my opinion on matters that I am no longer concerned with, because I am an American! First of, Mods should be trusted users who the community knows will not abuse their powers, so this narrows the list down quite a bit to like 4 people.

1- Masta Spida
2- Chuckie(River)
3- Doc R.
4- And some other guy that wants to do it who isnt an ass

Admins, should be the original two that werent a bunch of power hungry Commies, those two being:

1- Icer
2- RJ

Also, for the sake of the community…no mods should be an ass to anyone…which is a broad statement…so don't.

And on that note we cue the sad piano music playing at the end of The Incredible Hulk as Venkmanfan49 departs this board and its clownshoes.

Chuck(Riverofslime)-Knows too much about GB to not be a mod, he should go to the general gb forum.

Kingpin: He has shown great skills on the board and general knowledge of Ghostbusters. He is a talented writer and has never started trouble. Fanfic

Daryl Scoleri: HAs always been a good mod on call, his past record stands for itself. He would be a good mod. General

Shadow Weaver: A paranormal buff, knows his stuff, would prove a worthy mod. paranormal

Spengs: Has shown great dedication to GBI, it's only right he gets the placment. GBI

Texas GB and Zack: Both ahve an outstanding past on the boards.

just to clear up, the Mel that Chuck put was me…just so there's no confusion… :p

I may have to come back and edit this later…can't remember all the forums…and where I'm putting them is just suggestions, they'd be good just about anywhere…

Chuck(river)-great guy all around, sticks to his guns…throws a great ‘Slime party’ :-) ….lol….probably for general

RJ(sg1)-he was great as admin….but if that's not available….then since he's so good at it, Props.

shadow-for paranormal….that just seems to be his thing, and I think he's rather good at it.

Jay- for fan projects….since most of the fan projects seem to centre around fan fics and film…he spends a lot of his time on both.

Sinister, LordVego..both mature for their ages….mostly…lol…good guys…misc. or general..or wherever…

Back- although the potty humour can be much at times, he still tries to keep the peace…misc. is a good place for him.

there are a few that I really don't know too well but seem to keep general order in the community…….and also can't come up with at the moment….Spengs is one……I just lost my train of thought I'll come back and edit this later. :p

No. No, no, no, no, no. Although Kingpin and I have pretty much resolved some things I don't think he should be a mod. And neither should Dr. Riddle. I'm sorry, but I just think that in order to be a mod, one should have an objective opinion. That's how it is when a Jury is selected. And I also believe that perhaps one should be over 19 or 20, to be a mod.
