This is the only section of the GB message boards I actually read, so I'm sorry if this question fits or has an answer in another section.

Kingpin and Sinister occasionally make refrence to their “fanfiction” characters. What is this?

I suppose that is all I'm asking here. Thanks.

The best place to ask is probably here - I'll leave it to them to talk to you about their fan fic in detail.

We (Iain and myself) and others have two personas, so to speak.

There's our regular board ones and then there's our fanfic personas where we'd talk in the style of that character… there usually isn't that large a difference between the two but some of the differences relate to what we know.

We usually don't post in fanfic character here because it's not our real character… but we do some of the times we're promoting GBUK and we do over at GBI where most of the people roleplay as their fanfic characters.

Fanfiction - Fan written stories.

Basically Ben and I belong to a fictional team known as “Ghostbusters UK”, we write stories about this fictional team which allow for a variety of original stories that are difficult, or unlikely to be used with the normal Ghostbusting team.

That's the Ghostbusters UK home page. Our characters are based on us and our interests. So, as in real life, my particular interest in the paranormal is the demonic, my fanfiction character is a demonologist.

As I was saying regarding unique storylines, our first story (which actually revolves around the New York Ghostbusters as well as the UK Ghostbusters) is about the Houses of Parliament becoming the site of a cross rip.
