Not ready to believe them?

It always amazes me how many people didn't believe the guys about the ghosts. They saved NY (and the world, for that matter) in the first one. By the second movie, people thought the guys were crazy and it seemed that nobody believed them. So where were these people when the city was being taken over by ghosts and all that stuff was shooting out of the GB Headquarters and all the stuff was going on at the top of Dana's place? Did they all sleep through that? I would think it's a bit too hard to miss a bunch of ghosts breaking up the streets and terrorizing everyone.

Well, New Yorkers migh have not been very perceptive back then.

I'm not trying to offend any New Yorkers.

Well, not everybody witnessed it and people are very sceptic about these sort of things, especially religious groups.

I always thought that maybe the city and other groups may have embarked on a massive smear campaign to completely destroy their credibility, too.

They must be like me and never watch the news, lol. I rarely go out so it'd be just my luck to miss all the action in my area. smile

Even if they didnt witness it, surely a 100 ft Marshmellow Man walking around New York would have made the news? I would have thought that something like that would have been a little out of the ordinary, even for New York?

Well I dont think the main problem was that nobody believed them in GB2. But they went out of business I mean the ghosts were gone no more to catch nothing left to do. Until Vigo

I think that's a good point. People probably thought that they took care of everything the first time. You know, come in, clean out the ghosts and walk off into the sunset. Kinda like taking out the trash. If you take it outside, chances are it's not going to be back in your house when you come in. I know it's a bad analogy, but I think it works.
