I hope there is split screen so my wife and I can play in multiplayer. I wanted co-op and yes, they could have done it like countless other games: reduce the on screen detail in split screen. Maybe they will add it.

But that would ruin the whole GB exp. The point of them (The devs) doing it this way is, so we could get an “outsiders perspective” of what it is like to be a GB. We already know the story of the original GB as a team, now it's time get the exp first-hand from the “outside” so to speak. Playing as “the rookie” also helps the players (us) immerse themselves into the story better.(*peter)

True, get all that, but the fact is that the option is there, you CAN play as the 4 guys in multi-player. Either way though, even if it is just the rookie, I'd still wanna be able to take adavantage of all those awesome modes as a single player. Such a waste. Sometimes ya just wanna sit back, relax on your own and bust some ghost instead of sticking to story mode constantly or if you wanna have a go at multi, always have to rely on others to play. Ah well, guess we'll see for sure next week!!!

One thing I don't understand is that the Devs @ TR said they didn't want to ruin the experience if they put co-op in the 360/PS3 versions. Then you have the Wii, which is pretty much the same experience…which has co-op. Anyone following me? lol

Wii has the same story, and VO/A's .. the difference is controls, graphics and no online multiplayer.. Other wise it's the same as the 360/PS3.

As you probably know TR is not doing the Wii version and because the Wii is based around local co-op play it needed to have the split screen but the PS3 and Xbox 360 have a stronger online community. A big hook for the Wii is the interaction with your friends while playing it together in a room, it's one of its selling points.

Yes I know, but I believe it's still the same story. That has co-op.. ah well. Just pointing out TR could've also put Campagin co-op aswell, as it wouldn't really hurt the experience.
