Note before reading. I'm in uk and have no idea if every thing still applies to usa.

I was going to post this in the bluray thread but theres too many to know which one it would fit. But here it goes. On PSN there is no ghostbusters theme. On the back of the bluray box it states features wise : factoid track , featurettes , photo gallery , deleted scenes , wallpaper , commentary, storyboard comparisons, Multi-angle shots , slimer mode ans cinechat.


So imagine my surprise when I accidentally loaded the bluray in “games” section instead of on videoes. Installed a new theme to my ps3 that is pretty cool of ghostbusters. I saw it and grinned afterwards thinking “yay! my stupidity helped.” see yes it says wallpaper. I assumed pc (and I think it is) there is no mention of ps3 theme on box so i thought it was a nice little surprise.

Sorry if others have found this but I love the theme and thought i'd share.

Sorry about quality only way to take photo of the screen with digi cam. So these do not do them justice. The theme is one of multiple wallpapers (so each time you go on menu it's different kind of.)


1st background(s) is a picture of a random ghostbuster. (note actual movie ghostbuster as picture as quality makes it hard to see) You'll get either Egon , Ray or Peter. No Wintson (or none that seen.

I took a photo of Peter (others are basicly same thing just ghostbuster is in a diffrent pose.





2nd = Photo of the Team. In background = a faint picture of stay puft walking in city from movie. Side = 4 photos. Stay puft, Slimer , gozar and libraian transformed.





3rd option, and my personal favourite. Stay puft. What is interesting about this one, it is NOT movie stay puft but a digital stay puft that has more detail in the face. (though impossible to tell from my photo this one really looks cool)





so that is 5 possible backgrounds to see. the sides on all = that green slime and Ghostbusters logo in botom corner. Icons are in red. Text is white but if you noticed with Stay puft picture it never goes against white like some themes, instead Stay puft = right side of screen so font never touches him.

All in all while icons could have been improved e.g ghostbusters themed logos. It is a very well done theme with easy to see font and great backgrounds.

Ah, ok. Sorry for mix up I thought you meant it had been posted before.

It was certainly news to me. I wish I could do that with the 360.

I just got it. Chriz, you know you can take screenshots with your PS3, right? I'll go home and get it loaded up to show you guys better quality.
