Mod Edit: I took the liberty of retitling this as the ‘Official Ghostbusters Game discussion’ so we can keep all the new developments in one easy to locate topic. - Kingpin

Game Informer is set to reveal all of the information on the upcoming game – which is said to be a sequel to two films – in their next issue. Talent from the original films, Harold Ramis, Billy Murray, and Dan Aykroyd are teaming up on both scriptwriting and voice work for the title.

Not much is known about the game at this time, but all should be revealed in December issue, which should hit mail boxes any day now.

This is something of immense interest to me. I started, years ago, to make my own Ghostbusters game… since, let's face it, there is something of a severe lack of decent games based on the franchise. Let's hope this is something worth playing. I have my doubts and opinions on what is required to make a good game based on Ghostbusters, let's hope they can meet many of them.

I should be getting my new GI VERY soon so if nobody else gets it yet, I'll keep you all informed.

P.S. I'm very happy yet also worried about this. I'm happy that this game isn't based off those tech demos we saw many moons but since this game is coming out for ALL platforms, sacrifices will be made and most likely the resources won't be devoted to the PS3/360 versions (sorry it's the truth, just look at past multiplatform games).
