Man, I wake up to see gameplay footage AND the official website go up, I can't believe this. I hope you guys enjoyed my scans of the GI article, I couldn't wait to share that with my fellow GB fans.

And many thanks for that, it's helped to put a lot of the information and visuals into perspective.

I think the Louis question is a very good one. What with word that Moranis may have passed on the project, would that mean the character is cut-out, only referenced or voiced by a sound alike. Same with Dana. Guess we'll find out.

As for Janosz, I doubt it, but I'm always hopeful for GB2 characters (after all Brian Doyle Murray is your psychiatrist in this lol) and what with the part in the article that says not only does the problem bring forth new ghosts, but also old rivals, well… we all get the idea.

What I really think would be nice is a tribute to the people who worked on the movie that have passed on. Which is why I'm really glad the original GB score is in place. Maybe an “in memory of” in the credits.

Personally, I'd just want to hear Janosz say “Why am I drippings wiz goo?” :-)

And that's wonderful they got the first movie's music. Keep it in there. No temporary placeholder stuff.

Just watched the gameplay video, and the thing that most intrigued me? (Besides the exploding cake?) The use of the PKE meter. “Spirit Guide Updated”, eh? I don't know about the rest of you, but one of my favourite things in games is, like, a guidebook (the logs in Metroid Prime, the journal in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and, of course, the Pokédex) about the various creatures and things you encounter. I love field guides, and one in Ghostbusters would be so kick-awesome, I can't describe it.

Seeing as how they are making this a sequel to the first two films, the mayor was in both, and 1991 could be the last year of his second term, I wonder if they'll include him?

Not possible. They're so far along already and have a ways to go before the release. The proper time will be taken to keep it from going that route.

SM3 was rushed to meet the film's release.

And hey, SM3's game was great. Not a masterpiece by any means, but it doesn't even come close to being very bad at all.

It can still happen, I really don't want it too, but it can. That destroyed part of my childhood and I'll be damned if these games do it too.
