From my understanding the Wii version was designed to be played by ‘more casual players’ and families.
Yeah, that kind of sucks. The only other game I want for Wii is Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.

From what little we can see, the character looks a little generic (still early in development though), so hopefully that means character customization… (that's right, I'm plugging it into overdrive on that tidbit/suggestion/hope lol).

Why didn't you list that as an example of good Wii based graphics?
Yeah, it does look good. I'm actually doing an animation project using RE:UC as the main theme for it.

Yeah, count me in on the character customization bandwagon. Also no one should be blaming any developer for making their Wii games simplified in graphics and gameplay.
If you have to blame anyone, blame Nintendo. They're the spearhead of the casual games “movement”.

Yea, the article mentioned that they had sound alikes record some of the lines for the demos. It doesn't sound exactly like Harold to me, but its probably a sound alike.
Also to note, sounded like he was saying “Johnson!” as if the recruit's last name was Johnson. Wonder if you'll get to spell out your last name phonetically if you do in fact get to create your character, so that way you can actually hear the guys calling you by your own name.
