Well, since I really took no interest in Live until GB, since all the modes except for story require it, I see you have to PAY? I'm already paying for the game, and no way in hell am I gonna drop another 50 bucks when at least a couple of those modes should already be playable from the get go on the console.

I hope at least a couple of the multi modes are added for solo play to download from the marketplace eventually, I'll drop a little extra for that, but I'm not gonna go all Warcraft here.

I believe if you sign up for X Box Live, you will get 24 or 48 hours with a Gold Membership, so you can try that, other than that usually with big games like this they may do a “Free Multiplayer Weekend” soon, to get people to buy live, so that may be your chance to try it out. Or of course there is PS3 which has free multi, but less of the features that Live does.

Such is the advantage of the PS3 when it comes to online gaming. I actually don't mind the $7 a month for Xbox Live Gold though, but that's because I'm used to paying for MMOs. It'd be nice if they let you play the multiplayer by yourself with just a Silver subscription, but I doubt that is the case.

Was great seeing the Wii firehouse tour and how it differs from the 360/PS3 versions. Once again makes me glad that the Wii version is different in a lot of ways since I'm getting both. Watching the video though, now that I know veteran actor Max Von Sydow does the voice of Vigo, I listen to it now and can't believe I didn't notice it before.

That's one of the bigger things I'm looking forward to in the game, hearing the celebrity cameos.

It makes sense to have a bigger containment unit, didn't Egon complain that it was getting crowded in the old one before it got shut down?
That's the reason you should be looking for as to why it's different in the game.

I would think since the Comercial airs days before the release, and most likely will be running for the next month. They just put in Available Now, so that they didn't have to spend the money to create two different versions when one of the two would only be used for a handful of days.
