Interesting concept art there… For GI subscribers they have all of those new images and concept art. One of the concept art images is a sewer staircase or whatever of Ray with the Slime Blower (basically just artwork of the poster shot of Ray)

You a GI subscriber, Kalonthar? Magazine, or through that 60 day limited thing?

Yeah. They convinced me to get a year subscription when I went to pick up a copy of GI at Gamestop for the Force Unleashed. Heh, good thing I was convinced lol. Cheap price too. I think I have both actually. A subscription that expires in February and a code for the 60-days free.

Noticed that IGN just put up some more details about the game. It's basically just covering that the voice actors we already know about, such as Bill Atherton.

This is re-assuring…

“From the moment we green-lit the game, we have certainly seen a lot of passion and commitment coming from Sierra Entertainment and both development teams,” said Mark Caplan, VP, Licensing for Sony Pictures Consumer Products. “We believe fans are going to be impressed with the game's ability to deliver a very authentic Ghostbusters experience, as well as its capacity to expand the Ghostbusters universe that they currently know.”

I noticed that HTML is on here but not on GBHQ, but still I refrain from actually embedding the G4 video, but for anyone interested in putting the footage up on a blog or so, here is the html code:

object type=“application/x-shockwave-flash” allowScriptAccess=“never” allowNetworking=“internal” height=“402” width=“480” data="http://www.g4tv.com/lv3/19059“>
<param name=”allowScriptAccess“ value=”never“>
<param name=”allowNetworking“ value=”internal“>
<param name=”movie“ value=”http://www.g4tv.com/lv3/19059">

just add < at the beginning and </quote> at the end.

don't want to do it together on here or it will try to embedd it.

*While I'm “nitpicking”:

*BLUE: Missing It's “Outline”.
*GREEN: The Red “NO” is too small.

*Cheers.

While I'm lol-nitpicking… Slimer is too small… he must have went on a diet after GB2…

And why is he in the containment unit.

Yeah, count me in on the character customization bandwagon. Also no one should be blaming any developer for making their Wii games simplified in graphics and gameplay.

If you have to blame anyone, blame Nintendo. They're the spearhead of the casual games “movement”.

Well not really. It's the developers choice on how they want the graphics in the game. Clearly as shown in other games for Wii, the graphics CAN be good and not look simplified.

But since they're trying to make these versions the game “family friendly”, they probably didn't feel the need to overly detail the graphics like the 360/PS3/PC version. But as long as the game is fun, that's good enough for me.

I'm not saying Wii games have to have bad graphics. Not even close. (Super Smash Bros. Brawl looks fantastic!) I'm just saying no one should be surprised if some games happen to get “cartoonified” in order to appeal to the Wii's target audience.

After all, Nintendo has always focused on simple, family-friendly gaming. But with the Wii, they've taken it to a whole new level.

*I think it's because they wanted to keep in line stylistcally with the first film…I HATED the way they made him look in GBII…He looked more like his “cartoon” counter-part in that one …

*Conatinment Unit? - I'm confused.

*Cheers.
