You can find faults with just about every game but this game has major gameplay faults and quite a few of them. This is of course a completely subjective thing, all I can say is that so far I'm very disappointed with the gameplay. It could have been so much better.

It also could have been significantly much much worse…but like you said…it is a subjective thing. I play games mainly for the story…small faults can be overlooked if the story is well crafted.

Personally I have always played games for the challenge and for the gameplay. I have never been interested in story or characters when it comes to games. I usually just get on with the game and skip the cutscenes. On this occasion I am interested in the characters and story but only due to the fact that I am such a huge Ghostbusters fan but for me, without fun, well thought out, designed gameplay it just doesn't deliver for me at all.

I guess it really depends on what kind of experience you really want from a game.

I like the gameplay because its finally something new. I'm kinda tired of 1st person shooterts.. all are the same, with different weapons, and graphic styles, but ultimately, they are almost identical.

Least ghost wrangling is something new and unique to do.

I have a question. Are the Wii and PS2 versions the same game as the PS3/XBox 360 versions, just with more cartoonish graphics? Same levels, voice acting etc etc.

Just wondering if I should buy the PS2 version to hold me over until I get my XBox 360.

The PS2 / Wii version of the game has over all the same general story as the 360/PS3/and PC versions which are identical to each other. However there are small differences here and there that make the PS2 / Wii and the 360/PS3/and PC versions different from each other

Thanks. I think I'll grab a copy until I can get the other version.

Didn't want to start a new thread for some pictures of the firehouse, but found two nice pictures of the exterior from what looks to be the menus without the menu writing.
