I've been watching some of the old preview videos today on youtube, and I must say I prefered the way the view transitioned from 1st person (PKE meter) to 3rd person in these older videos. I know there's no real difference as such, but when the rookie put the meter away you used to be able to see him pull the wand off of the pack. I'd've loved to see more of that in the game. I know it's no big deal i just like it lol.

I´m thinking seriously on buying a PSP, I just got the GB UMD version and I would like to have the game on this console, but the PSP Go is about to be released, and it don´t play UMDs (as fas as I know). I have time to keep on thinking.

After watching Ghosthunters, where they visited St. Andrews on Staten Island, it reminded me of the chapel in the graveyard section. Google images to see the similarities…

Gamestop is also offering a limited time price drop of the game on PC for only $10 dollars. It's digital download only but it seems a pretty good deal for anyone wanting the PC game. Anyway thought I would mention it, the deal only goes through Halloween.

I just got my copy last week for $20 at Gamestop, plus a $25 XBox 360 controller, wired.

Unfortunately, I must wait 'til school gets out until I start playing.

Hey there GB fans, it´s been a long while since i last posted here (a handful of years i guess). But now i´m back with a new register and i hope to keep discussing GB matters with all of you guys.

About GB:TVG, i´d like to share a personal experience i had with it.

When i first saw the minimum requirements for the PC version, i got pretty sad since my machine wasn´t strong enough for running it. Y´know, i´m a brazilian fella and as you probably know, our PC hardware costs at least twice what the cost to you, my north-american and european friends.

So, upgrading my PC was completely outta question.

BUT, since i´m a pretty stubborn guy, i´ve decided to try the game anyway. And for my surprise, IT WORKED! Of course, i had to turn almost everything off or low and use the 640x480 resolution. It´s far from the optimum graphics but it runs almost smoothly, enough for this old GB fan to bust some ghosts and have the greatest GB experience that everyone was talking about.

By the way, these are my PC configuration:

Pentium D 915+ 2.80 Ghz 800Mhz FSB 4MB Cache
MB Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L
1,5 GB Ram Corsair Value Select, DDR2, 533Mhz
NVidia GeForce 8600GT 512MB DDR2
HD 80GB Maxtor Sata 2

As you can see, it´s a very average PC, with an old processor, an average video board and a low amount of a slow RAM memory.

And that´s what i wanted to share: if you guys have an older PC, try it on! I know i guy that make the game work even better than me using a Pentium 4 3.20 Mhz with HyperThread. So go for it!
