What's there to be confused about. I type fast and usually edit the messages too many times after I posted them so I mis-typed Containment Unit as Conatinment.

But now that you said it.. its the Conan-Tainment Unit.

In all seriousness though, it says “once Slimer escapes from the Containment Unit he makes a bee-line for the place with the best buffet in town” so apparantly Slimer starts the game trapped in the containment unit.

*The doors in-game seem to represent the current doors on “Hook & Ladder 8”, and NOT those in the films, series, comics, merchandise, or other official sources.

how about a petition to use the ecto-1 from ghostbusters and not the one from ghostbusters 2. i was never a fan of the yellow stripes down the side.

Well, the game DOES take place after the second film. It only makes sense to use that design.

*Well so did "Extreme Ghostbusters", which was set in 1997 [set 6 FULL YEARS after this game is suppossed to take place], and they still used the “classic” door design. (*peter)…And don't give me that "EGB doesn't count as it was a cartoon" mess either - It IS “canon” to the storyline…

*NOWHERE in the GB franchise has there been a change in the door structure, ala the Firehouse in the real world…

*And if you ask me that door is as gawdy as it gets…

I'm lost about the story elements of the game. Why are you or the character you play, seems to be playing moments from the first movie? Like why? Why must we go through some old scenes stuff, is it a training moment for when you start the game? But clearly the game pics show there'll be more to the games story itself. Based on the clips, it looks somewhat interesting, but the animation looks stiff and not flowing. Hopefully it doesn't have bad controls. Sometimes games look good but have brutal controls. Is it even 1-4 player game? Its gotta be multi player. We gotta be able to play with them all and with other players. Hoping for some good news on these bits when more info comes.
But I'm skeptical too. Seirra and Vivendi don't really have the best track records on games either.

*I don't think alot of the games you're probably thinking about have the care to detail that this game apparently is going to have (*peter)…You have a bunch of “Ghostheads” AND the actual team behind the movies involved - Including the “Ghostbusters” themselves…

*And it's still in the “development stage” so :p …
