I think one of the mods on this board should be given a demo to see if there is anything they are getting wrong, as we are the experts here.
Personally I would rather wait and savour the whole game when it is released.

I'm so excited about this game, and looks like the whole board is alive again. Hopefully the hype doesn't kill the game.

I uninstalled that sucker after 15mins. Whoever decided to replace the “open-ended” webslinging mechanism, with randomly placed icons that you had to click on and websling to… would be much better? Frickin' idjit.

Hopefully, if it's like any other game release, the PC version will be the same as the system version. Cause I remember Spider-man 2 for PC, it was completely different from the system version…

im a lil angry, dont get me wrong ive waited almost literaly all my life for a new game bu tthe thing that bothers me is the ps2 and wii screenshots. i was hoping they would be like the ps3/360 games but they turned them into weird bodied cartoons????? i mean i know wii doesnt have alot of graphics but hey look at call of deauty 3 or twilight princess, the graphcs look very simular. i will be very angry if i can not fight the Marshmallow man on my ps2. also for the wii i hope you can use the zapper.

Ha ha–that wasn't a shameless plug, that was a shamed plug!
Anyway, I have no doubt in my mind that both the engine and the hardware could handle a proton stream that at the very least had electricity around it rather than lighting zipping out to all corners of the room. Hell, they did it in Half Life, and that game is 10 years old! It could be as simple as a dithering that is simply another layer over the proton core.

Although I do not have a Wii my understanding is the Wii is more powerfull than the xbox 1. Not really to bothered myself as I have a PS3 all ready to kick some ecto @ss.
If they were going down the cartoony look for the PS2/Wii edition why did they not simply use The Real Ghostbusters as a format…?

Different right holders. They got the rights for the movie, not the cartoon, and having them look like the cartoon version would mean buying more rights.

lol Also I thought of it being GTAish awhile ago too. I think it would be cool if you could just chill at the firehouse and then leave and go do whatever (random missions, etc) if you dont want to mess with the main story line.

I saw the screens shots in gameinformer, they had a little balck box with wii and ps2 pics, the chars were all distorted. the wii version looks likle a first person shooter of sorts imo, the other one to me looked like luigis mansion. i havent recived my copy of GI yet but like i siad i fillped thru and thats what i thoguht saw/
