What do people think about the proton beams? I was going to reserve my thoughts until I've seen video, but in all of the screen shots, they look like static electricity (heavy on the blues and not so much orange / yellow).

Again, this is kind of pointless without video confirmation (plus it is early yet), but I thought I would bring it up anyway.

Having done 3D digital work I'm keeping in mind that particle physics and 3D models are very different, certainly from what 3D Studio Max has shown me… and that whilst we'll surely look forward to see very accurate 3D models, you can only go so far with particle effects such as the Proton Beams.

i wonder how long the story line will be, i hate games that take about 6 hours to beat. So i dont know about you guys but as soon as im getting it ill start playing on the hardest level to get all the fun and length out of it as I can

That was a pretty good article. There are a few screenshots we haven't seen yet, and some new info on the game.

Estimates from the XBOX 360 article and the interview with Dan suggest a 8-10 hour game at the moment.

G4: Ghostbusters gameplay footage

The G4 footage above is a download of the original file they put up, the present version has a lot of stuff that's unimportant and they also have some some commentary from their staff.

Kingpin, Is there another way to download that G4 footage rather than using MEGAUPLOAD. It never seems to work right for me for some reason.

As a side note: Should have seen the crack at GB2 coming in the article. It was bound to happen sometime. I shouldn't let those things bother me, but they sure as hell do.

Personal feelings aside and onto a different part of the article… “All the significant ghosts from the first two films will make a return, such as the two brothers who were prisoners” Best of both worlds. Get all of these old favorite villains, yet they are apart of a completely new story.
