Lol, I see that none of the guys are covered in marshmallow anymore. Heh, probably cause they were on the roof and you're the one fighting him, and not only that, he's climbing up the building and all.

Scratch that actually, I don't know if he's converted it yet but I got it as a .flv.

It's still in it's raw “.flv” format - In the case someone wanted to upload and imbed it :-) …

That and I haven't gotten around to converting it yet :p (*egon) …

*Cheers.

The old game isn't actually supposed to play along the lines of the movie, you're supposed to be a new GB franchise (yeah, that doesnt really ring true, but this was the intention) so you're purchasing the equipment from GB:I.

You know - I've never though about it like that…I always thought they just got that premise of the the movie wrong, having you buy already made equipment from an outside source. Like a “Doc Brown” or something , and not that Egon, nor Ray had built it…

Now it actually makes sense (*peter) :p . But why you still have to drive all the way across town to get the stuff is beyond me (*egon) …

That does make sense, but then again, why would you still wind up fighting Gozer and the Terror Dogs though, at least on the Genesis version, they had a different main bad guy, on all those other versions, you had Gozer (Gorza on the Sega Master System) and the Terror Dogs.

My last one for awhile :

It dangles instead of being attached to the holster.

And:

Could it be the “Subway Ghost”? I mean - They did say “old baddies” would be returning" and all…

*Cheers.

That does look alot like the Subway Ghost, though when I thought they said old baddies, I thought that they were talking about bosses, but, I guess if the librarian ghost can return, so can the subway ghost.

Personally, for old ghosts I'd like to see? The Mink Coat. That thing would be fun. Skittering around on the ground at high speed, making it a challenge to blast…

Ectofiend is all over it! Thanks for capturing and encoding that video, and good call on the Subway Ghost, I've always loved that ghost design, the animation was great.

Absolutely, good call. Because it could potentially jump onto or “infect” people wearing fur coats, and you wouldn't want to blast them with your proton pack, that would be bad. (*_*)

So I guess Angry Video Game Nerd got it wrong when he kept complaining why you only control 3 ghostbusters in the game when there are 4, and where is Winston…? So if you are a new franchise like the game says then there will be no Winston, Ray, Egon or Peter, lol.

i'm liking the throwaway reference in the UK article to the game having “all the weapons you've seen from the movies”. i'm hoping this means the sticky-slime gun thing is actually modelled on the slime-blower, rather than an upgrade for the proton pack!

In dream world it may mean you get to use the poltergeist traps from GB2, but probably not!
