I just called matty customer service playing “disgruntled customer” and I managed to learn the product started shipping today…apparently they started packing them yesterday. That's all she could tell me…once I heard her referring to the product as “the PKE meter FIGURE” is when I pressed her for more info.(*winston)

Anyone who is up in arms, or acting like this is some unreasonable activity is being completely ridiculous.

They said they'd start shipping on the 12th. It is the 13th. There is no need to worry, especially since not all order would obviously ship on the 12th, and anyone with half a brain can figure out that they wouldn't start shipping yesterday because its a Sunday and places don't ship on Sundays.

Ever so sorry, Dr. V. I was just passing along the info I got. And I am different than you, I believe once someone has my money for ten days(the hold was put on those funds at that time)I have every right to ask anything about my product. We're all friends here…just trying to pass along info straight from the source. I hope you guys don't think I made that up

Well, agreed with Dr. V, but RoastedZuul got info at his own way… and I appreciate he shared it with us. Thanks… I expect to receive the the shipping confirmation soon this days.

Others who have called MattyCollector today have received word that they are not shipping, and there is a delay.

Also, no one has paid for these yet. The hold was placed to make sure the funds were there and then it should have been returned. No one has your money right now.

I admit I do have some doubts about the “delay” rumor, the main problem being how mired down in jokes most of the PKE topics at GBFans have become, it's hard to discern real fact from the rest.

I beg to differ…all banks have their little quirks as to “charged when shipped” and “hold on funds/ not yet posted”-which at my bank means the held funding never re-appears in the account and is indeed “spent”. I work around this all the time. I am sure we can ALL agree on one thing:
“You're my number one Christmas boutique gift item”(*peter) directly applies to said product. Last thing I'll say is: Hope everyone gets their product to put under the tree.

But if you're bank isn't putting funds back into your account, you need a new bank. That's basically stealing. Mattel doesn't have your money. They put a hold on the funds, and then release the hold. All banks put that money back, that's the point. If they're not putting it back, its certainly not with Mattel, and that's something you need to work out with them. That's actually really troubling… like, REALLY troubling that a bank would do that.

I was just asking cause I'll be gone form the 19-23rd, I just hope My roommate is home when the package is delivered. I hope there is a delay for shipping since I will not be home for most of nest week. Please keep everyone up to date in this thread.
